The Lutron AM-4206 is a handheld anemometer that measures air velocity, air flow and air temperature with a single separate vane probe. Air velocity is read in m/s, km/h, mile/h, knots or ft/min over a range of 0.4 to 25.0 m/s, air flow is shown in CMM (m³/min.) or CFM (ft³/min.), and air temperature is measured from 0 to 50 °C with a fast-response thermistor sensor.
The low-friction ball-bearing vane wheel is accurate at both high and low velocities, and the separate probe makes it easy to work in different measurement environments. Three air flow modes are available: Instant, 2/3 Vmax and Average. The large 13 mm dual-function LCD, maximum/minimum memory recall and data hold make readings easy to take and review.
The meter is built with durable components in a strong, lightweight ABS-plastic housing, runs on a 9 V battery with auto shut off, and has an RS 232 PC serial interface. It is suited to checking air conditioning and heating systems and to measuring air velocities, wind speeds and temperature.
