Lutron TM-936 is a 2-in-1 digital thermometer accepting a 4-wire Pt100 ohm RTD (-200.0 to 850.0 °C) or K/J/R/E/T thermocouple probes up to 1700 °C, with 0.1° resolution, large LCD, data hold, MAX/MIN memory, REL and RS232 output.
The Lutron TM-936 combines two instruments in one housing: a high precision 4-wire Pt 100 ohm RTD thermometer and a thermocouple thermometer that accepts five probe types (K, J, R, E, T). A sensor select button on the front panel makes switching between probe types immediate.
An exclusive microcomputer circuit with software linearity correction memorizes the sensor curves inside the CPU for stable, repeatable readings, while the 51 x 32 mm super large LCD with 15 mm digits keeps values readable in the field. Data hold, MAX/MIN memory, relative measurement and an offset adjustment cover everyday measuring tasks.
The meter outputs data through an RS232 PC serial interface and works with optional USB/RS232 cables and Windows acquisition software for logging. It runs from a single 9V battery with auto power off and a low battery indicator, in a heavy duty compact case with stand.
