The Lovibond Scuba3s is a smart pooltester for the analysis of pool water quality. It is a battery-operated photometric instrument with a multi-wavelength spectrometric sensor that determines 11 parameters with tablet reagents: free, total and combined chlorine, bromine, pH, cyanuric acid, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, active oxygen, copper and phosphate.
Measuring is simple: dip the Scuba3s into the pool to fill the integrated sample chamber, perform the zero measurement, add the reagent tablet straight from the blister, dissolve it with the stirring rod and press the Test key. Integrated timers keep the reaction time, and the display shows whether the value lies inside the globally accepted range for safe swimming.
Results are stored automatically (100 data sets) and transferred wirelessly via NFC to the Lovibond PoolAssistant app. The waterproof housing (IPX7) is suitable for use in wet environments, inside and outside buildings. The manufacturer intends the instrument for non-commercial applications. Reagents for active oxygen, copper and phosphate are not part of the delivery content and are available as separate refill packs.
