The Benetech GM8903 is a digital hot wire anemometer with a separate retractable probe. It measures wind velocity from 0 to 30 m/s, air flow in CFM or CMM and air temperature, stores 500 records, connects to a PC by USB cable and has a large backlit LCD.
The Benetech GM8903 is a split-type digital hot wire anemometer: a handheld meter connected by cable to a slim probe on a retractable rod, so the sensor can be placed inside ducts and air outlets. It measures wind velocity from 0 to 30 m/s (0 to 5860 ft/min) with a lowest start value of 0.3 m/s, calculates air flow in CFM or CMM from the duct area you enter (0.001 to 9999), and measures air temperature.
Readings can be converted between m/s, ft/min, knots, km/h and mph. The meter shows maximum and minimum wind velocity, 2/3 Vmax and average wind flow, and offers data holding, storing and deleting with a memory of 500 records; it connects to a PC with a USB cable. The large LCD is backlit, and the meter switches off automatically after 10 minutes without operation.
Air temperature is measured from 0.0 to 45.0 °C (32.0 to 113.0 °F) with 0.1 resolution and ±1.0 °C (±1.8 °F) accuracy, with °C/°F selection and wind chill indication. The meter runs on 4 × 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries (about 20 hours of continuous use, operating current ≤ 60 mA, low battery indication at 4 V ± 0.2 V) and can also be switched off manually. Meter size 77 × 36 × 164 mm; probe 30.5 × 30.5 × 305 mm, 1000 mm when extended; net weight 330 g without batteries.
