Benetech GM8906 Contact-Type Tachometer

The Benetech GM8906 is a handheld contact-type tachometer for the machinery industry. It measures the rotation speed, linear speed or frequency of electric motors, as well as the rotation speed of impeller blades, rollers and shafts, and is widely used in industries such as electric motors, fans, washing machines, textile, automobile, aircraft and ships.

The instrument covers a measuring range of 0.5 to 19999 with a resolution of 0.1 from 0.5 to 999.9 and 1 from 1000 to 19999, and a stated accuracy of 0.05% + 1. Readings can be displayed in RPM, m/min or ft/min, and the sample interval is 0.8 s at 60 RPM or above.

The maximum, minimum, average and last measured values are stored and can be recalled with the MEM button, both during a measurement and after it has been stopped. The tachometer runs on two 1.5V AAA batteries and switches off automatically after 1 minute without operation.
