The TFA Dostmann 45.2000 is an analogue thermo-hygrometer designed for climate control in the greenhouse or conservatory. It lets you keep an eye on temperature and relative humidity at a glance, and a marked comfort range shows when to heat or ventilate carefully so that your plants enjoy optimal conditions. The instrument is entirely manufactured in Germany.

The hygrometer is particularly reliable thanks to its precise synthetic-hair movement, while the thermometer reads in degrees Celsius. Both share a Ø 102 mm dial set in a housing with a brass bezel, finished in golden/white and designed for wall mounting. For correct readings, install it away from radiators and direct sunshine.

The thermometer and hygrometer are adjusted in the factory. To check accuracy, place the instrument next to a well-set reference for 30 minutes and, if needed, readjust it with the screw on the back using a small screwdriver. To ensure long-term reliable readings, the hygrometer should be regenerated every 6 months: wrap it in a damp cloth for 20 minutes; it should then read between 90 and 99 % RH, otherwise re-adjustment against a reference is required.
