The Wintact WT8800 is an oxygen monitor built around a high-quality gas sensor. It measures oxygen concentration from 0 to 30 %VOL with a resolution of 0.1 and an accuracy of ≤ ±5 %FS, and responds (90%) in less than 30 seconds. According to the manufacturer it offers excellent sensitivity and repeatability, is easy to use and maintain, and meets the requirements of safety monitoring on industrial sites.

The colour LCD shows real-time readings and the system state, and the instrument warns the user in three ways: sound, light and vibration. Up to 120,000 readings are recorded continuously and can be reviewed on the instrument. The housing is made of high-strength engineering plastic and compound non-slip rubber, which the manufacturer describes as dust and explosion-proof, and it carries an alligator clip on the back.

The WT8800 is powered by a rechargeable 3.7 V lithium battery (1800 mAh) charged through the DC adaptor socket; charging takes 6~8 h and the instrument runs for more than 8 h continuously. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, environmental protection, metallurgy, refining, gas transmission and distribution, biochemical medicine and agricultural research.
