The Lutron EM-9300SD is a multi-function environment meter combining an anemometer, humidity/temperature meter, light meter and type K/J thermometer. It logs readings in real time to an SD card (1 GB to 16 GB) that opens directly in Excel, and offers RS232/USB output.
The Lutron EM-9300SD is an all-in-one environment instrument that combines an anemometer, a humidity/temperature meter, a light meter and a type K/J thermocouple thermometer in a single handheld unit. With the supplied EM-910P probe it measures air velocity from 0.4 to 25.0 m/s, relative humidity from 0 % to 95 % R.H., air temperature from 0 to 50 °C and light from 0 to 20,000 LUX. A sound level measurement is also possible with the optional SL-417 sound adapter.
The meter is a real-time data logger with a built-in clock and calendar: readings are saved to an SD memory card (1 GB to 16 GB) together with the time information (year/month/date, hour/minute/second) at a sampling time selectable from 1 second to 3600 seconds. No extra software is needed; the SD card is simply plugged into a computer and the data opens directly in Excel for further data or graphic analysis. A manual logging mode stores one reading per button press and lets the user assign a position (location) number from 1 to 99.
The LCD has a green backlight, and the meter runs on six UM3/AA 1.5 V batteries or an optional DC 9V adapter. An RS232/USB computer interface is available through the optional cables. The manufacturer states that the meter is available for HVAC applications.
