Benetech GM1312 Dual-Channel Thermocouple Thermometer

The Benetech GM1312 is a handheld digital thermometer with a double-channel thermocouple input. It works with J, K, T, E, N, R and S type thermocouples, and the selected type is shown on the display. In K-type mode the instrument covers -200°C to 1372°C; the widest span, 0°C to 1767°C, is reached with R and S types.

The backlit double display shows the two channels T1 and T2 as well as the combination of T1 and T2, including the difference T1-T2, so two points can be compared at a glance. Readings can be held, and the maximum, minimum and average values can be recalled. The unit is switchable between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

An electrical compensation function compensates the thermocouple error to improve overall precision. The stated accuracy of the main unit is ±0.1%+0.6°C, with a resolution of 0.1° below 1000° and 1.0° from 1000° upwards. The thermometer is powered by three 1.5V AAA batteries.
