The HM Digital TDS-EZ is an economy handheld meter for all basic water testing applications. It measures total dissolved solids (TDS) from 0 to 9990 ppm (mg/L) with an accuracy of ±3%, using advanced microprocessor technology. From 0 to 999 ppm the reading advances in steps of 1 ppm; from 1000 to 9990 ppm it advances in steps of 10 ppm, indicated by a blinking 'x10' icon.
The meter is factory calibrated with a 342 ppm NaCl solution and can be recalibrated with a mini-screwdriver. A TDS chart sticker on the back of the meter explains the measured values, and the strong, translucent blue housing makes it a durable everyday tester. It runs on two 1.5 V button cell batteries (LR44 or equivalent), which are included and last for approximately 1000 hours of use.
