The Lutron TM-947SD is a four-channel digital thermometer with a built-in real-time datalogger. It accepts Type K, J, T, E, R and S thermocouple probes as well as Pt 100 ohm probes, and shows the four channels (T1, T2, T3, T4) on the LCD at the same time. It can also display the temperature difference T1-T2. The measuring range is -100 to 1300 °C with a Type K probe and -199.9 to 850.0 °C with a Pt 100 ohm probe, in °C or °F, with 0.1 degree or 1 degree resolution depending on the range.
Thanks to its built-in clock and calendar, the meter saves every reading together with the date and time on an SD memory card (1 GB to 16 GB). The sampling time can be set from 1 second to 3600 seconds, and a manual mode saves one reading at each press of the logger button with a position (location) number from 1 to 99. No extra software is needed: the SD card is simply plugged into the computer and the recorded values open directly in Excel for further data or graphic analysis.
An RS232/USB computer interface is available for transferring live readings to a PC using the optional USB cable USB-01 or RS232 cable UPCB-02 and the optional Data Acquisition software SW-U801-WIN. Temperature probes are optional accessories and are ordered separately.
