Elmetron CO-411 Waterproof Oxygen Meter

The Elmetron CO-411 is a portable, waterproof oxygen meter designed for work in the field and in the laboratory. It measures atmospheric oxygen in %, oxygen dissolved in water and sewage in % of saturation or in mg/l, and temperature. It can also be used to determine the purity of technical oxygen.

The meter works with an easy-to-use galvanic oxygen sensor and a separate Pt-1000B temperature sensor that covers -50.0 to 199.9 °C. Temperature compensation is automatic, and the values of air pressure (800 to 1100 hPa) and salinity (0 to 50 g/l NaCl) can be entered so that the meter automatically corrects their influence on the oxygen concentration measured in mg/l. The meter has no built-in pressure sensor and no PC connection; it stores up to 50 results in its memory.

The standard set includes the COG-1 galvanic oxygen sensor on a cable of about 1 m and the CT2B-121 temperature probe with a Pt-1000B resistor. When properly maintained, the oxygen sensor may remain efficient for several years.
