The Lutron VB-8201HA is a compact vibration meter for industrial machinery monitoring. It measures velocity up to 199.9 mm/s and acceleration up to 199.9 m/s² from 10 Hz to 1 kHz, shows RMS or peak values on a large LCD, and comes with a separate VB-81A sensor and magnetic base.
The Lutron VB-8201HA is a professional vibration meter for industrial vibration monitoring. All industrial machinery vibrates, and the vibration level is a useful guide to machine condition: poor balance, misalignment and looseness of the structure raise the vibration level, a sure sign that maintenance is needed.
The meter measures vibration velocity on a 200 mm/s range (0.5 to 199.9 mm/s) and acceleration on a 200 m/s² range (0.5 to 199.9 m/s²) over a frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 kHz, with relative sensitivity across the frequency range meeting ISO 2954. Readings are shown as RMS or peak values on a 61 × 34 mm super large LCD with 15 mm digits.
It is supplied as a complete set with the separate VB-81A vibration sensor, cable, magnetic base and hard carrying case, and runs on a single DC 9V battery.
