The Lutron CM-6146 is a smart DCA/ACA clamp meter with a 6000-count display. It measures DC and AC current up to 1000 A and voltage up to 1000 V, plus resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode and continuity, with automatic function selection and CAT III 1000 V safety.
The Lutron CM-6146 is a smart clamp meter that measures both DC and AC current up to 1000 A without breaking the circuit. Alongside current it measures DC and AC voltage up to 1000 V, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode and continuity, all on a 6000-count large LCD display.
The meter is built around four intelligent positions: V selects ACV or DCV automatically with auto range; Ω selects resistance, diode, continuity beeper or capacitance automatically; and the 600A and 1000A positions select ACA or DCA automatically. Function keys for Select, Zero, Hz, Range and Hold are provided, and the Hz button measures the frequency of the signal while in the voltage or current function.
The CM-6146 meets the IEC 1010 CAT III 1000 V safety requirement (CAT IV 600 V), has 10 M ohm input impedance on the voltage circuit and built-in overload protection for most ranges, and is housed in a strong, light weight ABS-plastic case.
