Benetech GM3125 Digital High Voltage Insulation Tester

The Benetech GM3125 is a digital insulation resistance tester with four selectable DC test voltages – 500 V, 1000 V, 2500 V and 5000 V – measuring insulation resistance up to 1000 GΩ on the 5000 V range. Insulation resistance accuracy is ±5% rdg ±3 dgt from 0 to 99.9 GΩ and ±20% rdg ±3 dgt above 100 GΩ.

Besides insulation testing, the instrument measures DC voltage from ±30 to ±600 V and AC voltage from 30 to 600 V (50/60 Hz) with 1 V resolution and ±2% rdg ±3 dgt accuracy, and provides polarization index (PI) measurement and a timer measurement function.

Readings appear on a backlit LCD of max. 999 counts with a bar graph of max. 36 points. An auto-discharge function and live-circuit warning symbols with an audible alarm make operation safer. The tester runs on 8 × 1.5 V LR14 batteries (approx. 15 hours) or on a 12 V DC adapter (12 V/1 A).
