TFA Dostmann 30.5044.01 TERRACHECK Digital Thermo-Hygrometer

TFA Dostmann 30.5044.01 TERRACHECK Digital Thermo-Hygrometer

The TFA Dostmann 30.5044.01 TERRACHECK is a digital thermo-hygrometer designed for climate monitoring in terrariums. Two separate cable sensors, one for temperature and one for humidity, are fixed to the inside of the terrarium glass with suction cups, while the display unit stays outside the terrarium on its clip or fold-out stand.

The display shows the humidity measured by the cable sensor together with the indoor temperature (IN) at the place where the instrument is installed; a press of the IN/OUT button switches to the temperature measured by the cable sensor (OUT). The cable temperature sensor covers -50 to +70 °C, the indoor sensor -10 to +50 °C, and humidity is measured from 20 to 99 %RH. Temperature can be shown in °C or °F.

The MAX/MIN button recalls the highest and lowest temperature and humidity since the last reset. The temperature probe is waterproof; the humidity probe should be protected from direct water, for example from an irrigation system. The plastic housing measures 64 × 24 × 64 mm and the unit runs on one AAA 1.5 V battery (not included).
