The ThermoPro TP19H is a compact instant-read thermometer with a folding stainless-steel probe, designed to check the internal temperature of meat and other foods. It covers -50 to 300 °C (-58 to 572 °F) with 0.1 °C resolution and displays the temperature within 4 seconds; readings outside the range are shown as LLL or HHH.

Accuracy is ±0.5 °C (±0.9 °F) between -10 and 100 °C (14 to 212 °F). The probe can be checked and re-calibrated by the user at the ice point (0 °C) using the CAL button, and the calibration can be undone at any time to return to the factory setting. The backlit, auto-rotating LCD can be read from any angle, and the LOCK button holds the reading for 5 seconds so it can be read away from the heat.

Pulling the probe out switches the thermometer on and folding it in switches it off; motion sensing lets it sleep when set down and wake when picked up, and it powers off automatically after 90 seconds without use. The IP65 body can be washed under running water (it must not be immersed or put in a dishwasher), built-in magnets keep it on any metal surface, and a hang hole lets it hang on a kitchen hook or lanyard. It runs on one AAA 1.5V battery (included) and comes with a one-year warranty.
