Sanhe GY-M30 Digital Fruit Hardness Tester

The GY-M30 from Wenzhou Sanhe Measuring Instrument Co., Ltd is a handheld digital fruit hardness tester used to judge the maturity of fruit by measuring the firmness of its flesh. A Φ7.9 mm pressure head is pressed 10 mm into the fruit, and the result is displayed directly in kgf/cm², the standard unit of fruit hardness, over a range of 0.4 to 30 kgf/cm² with a resolution of 0.01 kgf/cm² and an accuracy of ±2% (10% to 100% of the full range).

Three measurement modes can be switched freely: real-time mode follows the applied pressure continuously, peak mode holds the maximum value until it is reset with the ZERO key, and first-peak mode records the first force peak of a test. Upper and lower limits can be set for statistical analysis, with a buzzer alarm when a reading goes beyond them.

Typical samples include apples, kiwifruit, grapes and strawberries, making the GY-M30 a practical tool for growers, packing houses and quality-control laboratories that need an objective ripeness check. It runs on two AAA batteries and weighs about 0.4 kg.
