The TempPro TP605 (TempSwift PLUS) is a hand-held digital thermometer for checking the internal temperature of meat and other foods while cooking. Pulling the food-grade stainless steel probe (109 mm / 4.3 in) away from the body switches the thermometer on, and folding it back switches it off.

It measures from -50 to 300 °C (-58 to 572 °F) with 0.1 °C / °F resolution and an accuracy of ±1.0 °C (±1.8 °F) between -10 and 100 °C (14 and 212 °F). Readings below or above the range are shown as LL.L or HH.H. The display unit switches between °C and °F, and the last selected unit is saved for next use.

The thermometer is calibrated at the factory; if needed, the user can re-calibrate it in an ice-water bath at 0 °C or return to the default calibration. Its IPX6 waterproof body can be washed under running water, and it is covered by a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
