The Tenmars TM-207 is a solar power meter with an external sensor for measuring the solar radiation emitted by the sun in W/m² or BTU/(ft²×h). It offers a 3½-digit LCD, a 2000 W/m² range with 0.1 W/m² resolution, a cosine-corrected sensor, and Data Hold and MAX/MIN functions.
The Tenmars TM-207 measures the solar radiation emitted by the sun and shows the result directly in W/m² (watts per square metre) or in BTU/(ft²×h). Its sensor is external and connected to the meter by a cable of approximately 1.5 m, so it can be placed where the measurement is needed while the reading is taken comfortably on the 3½-digit LCD.
The meter covers a range of 2000 W/m² (634 BTU/(ft²×h)) with a resolution of 0.1 W/m², a cosine-corrected sensor and a sampling time of 0.25 second. Accuracy is typically within ±10 W/m² or ±5 %, whichever is greater in sunlight, and drift is less than ±2 % per year.
Typical applications include solar radiation measurement, solar energy research, setting up photovoltaic panels at the best angle of incidence, meteorology, agriculture, physics and optics laboratories, and evaluating high-performance windows and vehicle glass.
