Drawell NDJ-8S Digital Rotational Viscometer

The Drawell NDJ-8S is a digital rotational viscometer for measuring the viscosity of liquids from 20 to 2,000,000 mPa·s. It offers eight adjustable rotating speeds (0.3, 0.6, 1.5, 3, 6, 12, 30 and 60 RPM) and is supplied with four spindles, code L1, L2, L3 and L4, so that the right spindle and speed combination can be chosen for each sample.

The LCD screen displays the viscosity, the speed, the torque, the spindle and the maximum viscosity that can be measured with the current spindle and speed. Accuracy is ±1% of the full-scale range in use and the return capacity is ±0.5% of the full-scale range in use. The instrument is powered through a power adapter with 100-240V, 50/60Hz input and has an RS232 standard output interface.

The NDJ-8S measures the absolute viscosity of Newtonian liquids and the apparent viscosity of non-Newtonian liquids, and is used with grease, paints, coatings, plastics, pharmaceuticals and detergents. Optional adapters and spindles extend its use to very low viscosities and to small sample volumes.
