The Wintact WT81 is a digital lux meter that measures illuminance from 0 to 200,000 Lux over four auto-switched ranges, together with temperature. It shows difference, maximum and minimum values, stores readings, and offers Lux/FC and °C/°F units, backlight and data hold.
The Wintact WT81 digital lux meter is a professional instrument for measuring illumination and brightness. It is used in light intensity measurement engineering, quality control, illness prevention and treatment, and for measuring light intensity in all kinds of environments such as factories, schools, offices, transportation routes and homes.
The photometer head combines a photodiode, a cosine corrector and a correction filter, and an NTC thermistor measures temperature at the same time. The total illuminance range of 0 to 200,000 Lux is divided into four ranges that the meter switches automatically, with an accuracy of ±3 % of reading below 10000 Lux and ±4 % of reading above 10000 Lux.
Illuminance readings can be stored automatically (up to 1000 data groups) or manually (up to 67 data groups). The meter runs on three 1.5V AAA batteries; battery life is about 200 hours of continuous operation with the backlight off. Bluetooth is available only on the WT81B version, not on the WT81.
