The Sauermann Si-CA 030 is a compact, light and durable combustion analyzer for residential and commercial heating appliances. It accepts up to three electrochemical gas sensors: O2 (0 to 25%) and CO (0 to 8000 ppm) are fitted as standard, and an optional NO sensor (0 to 5000 ppm) adds NOx measurement.
Besides the gas readings, the analyzer measures flue temperature from -20 to +1250 °C, air temperature from -20 to +120 °C and draft / differential pressure from -200 to +200 mbar, and calculates CO2, excess air and combustion efficiency. The pump cuts off automatically at high CO levels to protect the sensor, and the instrument can also monitor CO in ambient air for safety.
A wireless link (range up to 15 m) connects the Si-CA 030 to the free app for iOS and Android, giving a remote live view of the readings as a list or graph, remote control of the settings, automatic data logging and reports in PDF, CSV and XML. The analyzer is supplied as a kit; kits are available with a 180 mm or 300 mm flue gas probe rated to 800 °C, a 2 m or 3 m dual hose, and cardboard box, vinyl carrying case or ABS hard plastic carrying case.
