The Lutron DT-2268 combines a laser photo tachometer (5 to 99,999 RPM) and a contact tachometer (0.5 to 19,999 RPM) with surface speed measurement in m/min and ft/min. Accuracy is ± (0.05% + 1 digit); the last, maximum and minimum values are stored automatically.
The Lutron DT-2268 is a multi-function instrument that combines a photo tachometer (RPM) and a contact tachometer (RPM, m/min, ft/min) in one handheld unit. The photo tachometer measures from 5 to 99,999 RPM using a laser light beam, and the contact tachometer measures from 0.5 to 19,999 RPM, with surface speed from 0.05 to 1,999.9 m/min or 0.2 to 6,560 ft/min.
The resolution is 0.1 RPM for measured values below 1,000 RPM and the accuracy is ± (0.05% + 1 digit). The instrument is built around an exclusive one-chip microcomputer LSI circuit with a quartz crystal time base, giving accurate measurement and a fast sampling time. The last, maximum and minimum values are stored in the memory automatically and are recalled with the Memory Call button.
The housing is made of strong, lightweight ABS plastic shaped to fit comfortably in either hand. The instrument runs on 4 x 1.5V AA ( UM-3 ) batteries.
