The Benetech GT8913 is a handheld digital anemometer with a separate six-blade wind wheel probe connected to the meter by a cable. It measures the current wind speed together with temperature and humidity, and also the current air volume, so one instrument covers the usual checks on air-conditioning outlets and ventilation openings.

Wind speed is measured from 0.0 to 45.0 m/s and can be displayed in m/s, ft/min, knots, km/h or mph; air flow is shown in CFM or CMM up to 999900. Wind temperature is measured from 0 to 45 °C (32 to 113 °F) and humidity from 10 to 90 %RH. The meter records the wind speed and the maximum and minimum wind flow, and gives the 2/3 and average wind flow values.

The manufacturer shows the instrument in use in schools, factories, offices and along traffic highways. It is used for industrial and household purposes, such as checking computer CPU fans, air conditioners and blowers, and for kite flying. The housing is made of ABS. The meter runs on four 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries (batteries not included).
