Landtek BTT-2880 Belt Tension Tester

The BTT-2880 is a digital belt tension tester mainly used for belt tension measurement; it can also measure the tension of objects such as tapes and wires. It is widely applied in the automobile, textile, cable and wire, plastic film, paper and printing industries.

It measures and adjusts the tension of timing and auxiliary belts fitted to motor vehicles and other machines, over a range of 0~750 N (0~77 kg, 0~120 lb, 0~114 Seems), on belts up to 36 mm wide and up to 20 mm thick. Tension limits can be set manually or automatically. While the belt is being adjusted, the LCD shows the tension, and coloured High / Low / OK LEDs together with a piezoelectric sounder indicate whether it is within or outside the set limits, so the user does not have to read the display while adjusting.

Accuracy is ±5% of full scale. Readings can be sent to a PC through USB, RS-232 or Bluetooth; the RS-232C data cable and the Bluetooth data adapter, each with software, are optional accessories.
