The HM-934-1 is a digital Barcol impressor that measures indentation hardness on the HBa scale, 0~100 HBa (equal to 25~135 HBW), with 0.1 HBa resolution and maximum hold. It tests from one side of the part without support. Mainly used in the aluminum processing industry.
The HM-934-1 is a digital indentation hardness tester of the Barcol impressor type. It measures the hardness of the material directly on the Barcol scale (HBa) over a range of 0~100 HBa, equivalent to 25~135 HBW, with a resolution of 0.1 HBa shown on a digital display.
It is mainly used in the aluminum processing industry for testing pure aluminum, soft aluminum alloys, thick aluminum alloys, aluminum strip, section bar, bar, castings, forgings and aluminum alloy products, and it can also be used in the glass steel (fiberglass) industry. No support is needed: the test is made from one side of the sample only.
The relevant industry standards are ASTM B648-10(2015), ASTM D2583-13 and GB/T 3854-2005. The tester runs on 2 x 1.5 V AAA (UM-4) batteries and weighs 390 g without batteries.
