2000H Handheld Transit-Time Ultrasonic Flowmeter

The 2000H is a portable transit-time ultrasonic flowmeter for liquids in closed pipes. Its clamp-on transducers are fixed to the outside of the pipe, so flow is measured without cutting the pipe, without pressure drop and without disturbing the flow. Several transducer types are available to suit small, medium and large pipes, standard or high-temperature service, and direct clamp-on or mounting-bracket installation.

The convertor achieves ±1% accuracy with 0.5% linearity and 0.2% repeatability over a flow velocity range of 0 to ±10 m/s. Its backlit 4×16 character LCD shows instantaneous flow, accumulated flow (positive, negative and net), velocity and working status, and the menu is available in Chinese, English and Italian, with other languages available on customization. A built-in data logger stores measurement data, and an isolated RS232 serial interface is used for data transfer and for upgrading the flowmeter software from a computer.

The meter works on any single liquid that can transmit sound waves: potable, hot, chilled, sea and waste water, raw sewage, reclaimed, cooling and river water, oils, chemicals, beverages, plant effluent and ultra-pure liquids. Built-in rechargeable Ni-MH batteries give over 12 hours of continuous operation, and the instrument is supplied in an aluminum alloy carrying case.
