The Lutron CM-9930 is a 2 in 1 clamp meter and digital multimeter with true RMS ACV/ACA reading. It measures AC/DC current up to 2000 A with a Hall effect clamp (51 mm jaw), direct current to 400 mA, voltage to 1000 V, resistance, capacitance, frequency and duty cycle.
The Lutron CM-9930 combines a 2000 A clamp meter and a digital multimeter in one instrument. Its Hall effect current sensor measures both AC and DC current on two clamp-on ranges (400 A and 2000 A) through a jaw that opens to 51 mm (2.1 inch) diameter, and true RMS reading is used for AC voltage and AC current.
As a multimeter it covers DC/AC voltage up to 1000 V, direct-input DC/AC current from 400 uA to 400 mA, resistance up to 40 M ohm, capacitance up to 50 uF, frequency up to 100 kHz, duty cycle, diode test and a continuity beeper. The 4000-count LCD is auto-ranging, and an overload protection circuit is provided for all ranges.
The meter meets the IEC 1010 CAT III 1000V safety requirement and is housed in a compact, heavy duty ABS and fireproof plastic case.
