PCE Instruments PCE-TG 75 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The PCE-TG 75 measures material thickness from 1.00 to 225.0 mm (0.04 to 8.85") on a wide variety of homogeneous materials. The speed of sound can be adjusted from 1000 to 9999 m/s and stored in the instrument, so the gauge can be set up for practically any homogeneous material; the sound velocities of common materials such as steel, aluminum, zinc, silver and gold are already held in the built-in material library with 15 memory locations.

With the limit value function, individual maximum and minimum values can be stored. If a reading of the test piece falls outside these limits, the gauge signals it visually on the display, and an acoustic signal can be added if required. This makes the PCE-TG 75 well suited to quality assurance and incoming goods inspection.

Up to 500 measured values are kept in the internal memory and can be analysed directly on the instrument, including a graphical view with the average, largest and smallest values. Readings appear on a 2.4 inch colour TFT LCD with brightness adjustment, a 4 mm calibration reference is built into the housing, and the gauge works with the PCE-TG 5M10d standard 5 MHz sensor. An ISO calibration certificate is available as an option.
