The Easy-Laser XT440 is a laser shaft alignment system for horizontal and vertical/flange-mounted machines, including soft foot check. It is the first member of the Easy-Laser Generation XT family and uses line laser technology for a fast setup and an easy measurement process.

The free XT Alignment app guides the user through every step – enter dimensions, measure, view the As found result and adjust – with an animated, intuitive interface and a searchable built-in manual. It runs on iOS and Android devices (conditions apply) or on the rugged Easy-Laser XT12/XT11 display unit, which is sold separately. The measuring units determine the available functions, so there are no licences to manage.

Every job can be documented in PDF and Excel reports with notes, photos and an electronic signature, then shared by email or saved to USB.

• XT40-M and XT40-S measuring units with 30 mm TruePSD detectors and line laser technology
• Resolution 0.001 mm and measurement accuracy ±5 µm ±1%, with up to 10 m between units
• OLED display on each unit shows unit angle (0.1° inclinometer) and battery status for easy positioning
• EasyTurn™: start anywhere on the turn and measure at any three positions with as little as 20° between them, or at 9-12-3 o'clock
• Vertical/flange-mounted program for machines with 4, 6, 8 and 10 bolts
• Values program works like dial gauges with laser precision, e.g. to check bearing play or shaft load
• Soft foot check, pre-set or custom tolerances, thermal growth compensation, multiple sets of feet and locked feet
