The Hydrion CM-240 from Micro Essential Laboratory is a simple, reliable and economical way to measure the concentration of free available chlorine in sanitizing solutions. The test paper covers 10–200 ppm, with color matches at 10-25-50-100-200 ppm.

Federal, state and local health regulations require users of chlorine-based sanitizer solutions to have appropriate test kits available to verify sanitizer strength. The CM-240 lets food-service establishments and health care facilities confirm that their sanitizing solutions are at the concentration specified by the sanitizer manufacturer.

To test, dip the paper into the sanitizing solution, blot it with a paper towel, then immediately compare the resulting color with the enclosed color chart. The manufacturer supplies the CM-240 in cartons of 10 kits, providing approximately 2000 tests per carton.
