Hti HT-04D Thermal Imaging Camera

The Hti HT-04D is a handheld infrared thermal imaging camera from Dongguan Xintai Instrument Co., Ltd. Its 160×120 infrared detector works in the 8–14 µm band with a 35°×26° field angle, fixed focus with a shortest focus distance of 0.15 m and a 9 Hz thermal frame rate, and it resolves temperature differences as small as 0.07 °C. It measures surface temperatures from -20 °C to 450 °C with an accuracy of ±2 °C/±2 % (±5 % above 300 °C).

The image is shown on a 2.8-inch full-view TFT display (320×240) with centre-point, highest and lowest temperature cursors, the field maximum/minimum, the current emissivity and the time. A built-in 300000-pixel visible camera lets you blend the visible and thermal images in five steps (0 %, 25 %, 50 %, 75 % and 100 %), so a hot spot is easy to locate on the real object and to share with others.

Captured images are stored as JPG files in the built-in 3G memory (more than 20,000 images) and transferred to a computer over Micro USB 2.0. The camera runs 2–3 hours on its rechargeable 18650 lithium battery, charged through the same Micro USB port, and a built-in LED lamp lights up dark areas. Typical uses include electrical panels and connections, motors and bearings, HVAC and plumbing systems, and building inspection.
