The Lutron MS-7004SD measures soil moisture from 0 to 100 % and soil temperature from 0 to 60 °C through a separate four-pin probe. Its real-time SD card datalogger records readings with date and time every 1 to 3600 seconds, and the files open directly in Excel without extra software.
The Lutron MS-7004SD is a handheld soil moisture meter with a separate four-pin probe (pin length 78 mm). It measures soil moisture from 0 to 100 % and soil temperature from 0 to 60 °C with a thermistor sensor, and shows both readings together on a backlit LCD.
A real-time SD card datalogger with built-in clock and calendar records readings automatically at a sampling time set from 1 to 3600 seconds, or manually with position (location) numbers 1 to 99. The data is saved with year, month, date, hour, minute and second, and the SD card can be read on a computer and opened directly in Excel without installing extra software.
The meter is powered by six 1.5 V AA (UM3) batteries or a DC 9 V adapter and offers an RS232/USB PC computer interface through optional cables.
