Benetech GM620 Wood Moisture Meter

The Benetech GM620 is a handheld wood moisture meter that can be adjusted for 4 tree species. Depending on the selected species setting, it measures moisture from 2~40% (Spc1) up to 2~70% (Spc4) with a resolution of 0.5% and a maximum error of ±1%+0.5, using CPU technology for accurate measuring and automatic temperature compensation for a varying environment.

Besides wood moisture, the meter measures the environmental temperature (-10°C~60°C) and humidity (20%RH~95%RH) and shows them on its large backlit LCD. It has a built-in fork under a cap on the meter itself and a detachable 147 mm fork for deeper measurements. The reading can be locked, and the maximum moisture reading can be reviewed.

The meter is powered by 2 AAA batteries with a battery icon on the display, and it turns off automatically after 120 seconds without operation. In addition to wood, it can be applied to measuring the moisture level of bamboo, paper and some Chinese medicinal herbs.
